Wyandottes - The American Breed
Thank you for your interest in our Wyandottes. The Wyandotte chicken is an American breed originating with the silver laced variety that can trace its origins to New York State during the early 1870's. With these tough times that our country is facing we have found a huge demand for quality large fowl Wyandottes. It seems that Americans want to get back to simpler pleasures. Farm fresh eggs and beautiful birds in the yard are as American as baseball and apple pie. Nothing beats pulling out a lawn chair on a cool Saturday morning with a cup of hot coffee in hand and just sitting back and enjoying a flock of Wyandottes as they strut and scratch around in your yard. It sure beats reading the gloomy morning newspaper.
Over the years we have worked hard to improve our lines of Wyandottes concentrating on better size, crisper lacing, better colors and better overall type. Throughout these pages you will see actual pictures of our breeding stock.
