SHIPPING METHODS
We ship through the United State Postal Service and utilize approved and environmentally-secure shipping containers. Even though the U.S.P.S. express mail option is quite a bit more expensive than the priority service, we firmly believe that the live birds deserve the best and in this case the quickest service available. Upon shipping you your order we will follow up with an email detailing chick care and the U.S.P.S. tracking number. We also recommend that wherever possible our customers use the Express Mail Hold for Pickup Service. Senders can have their shipments held securely at any one of 31,000 Post Offices to await pickup.Recipients can pick up their packages when it's convenient for them.Service includes an automated callback notification to customers about the arrival status of their package.
We have found that this can save valuable hours of time for the birds. Bird shipments are often made to your local after you delivery person has left to start their route for the day leaving the birds waiting until the next day. Always let your post office know that you are expecting them and to give you notice when they arrive.
