Other Wyandotte Varieties
While our main goal at Paul’s poultry is to constantly improve on the existing varieties of Wyandottes we also have several projects that we are working on. Some have asked us with nine accepted varieties plus the blue laced reds why create another variety? The answer is simple. We will do anything possible to get people excited about Wyandottes and if it means creating varieties that are known to other breeds of poultry and not currently found in Wyandottes than why not? We are currently working on buff Columbian, barred, lavender Columbian, red, pyle and violet laced large fowl Wyandottes. Most of these varieties that we are working on are long term projects and we do not expect results for years to come. We gladly welcome your input on these or any other variety of Wyandottes.
