American Columbian Wyandottes

Columbian pullet Columbiancockerel and pullet

Columbian Wyandottes were first exhibited at the Columbian Exposition/Worlds Fair in 1893 thus giving them the name they are now known by. They were admitted to the A.P.A. standard in 1905. Our line of Columbian large fowl Wyandottes exhibit good size, weight, color and decent type. This variety is one of fantastic contrasts making the Columbians almost impossible to take your eyes off of while they forage through your yard or grace the show pens. Although all of our Wyandotte lines are extremely docile, these Columbians seem to be the calmest and friendliest of all birds at our farm. Even though our line of Columbians still has some room for improvement, they are well on their way to becoming some of the top in the nation and will show well against all other varieties of large fowl Wyandottes. These birds are a great choice for exhibition and a fantastic choice for your 4-H, F.F.A. or A.P.A. sanctioned shows. We will be offering this line in limited numbers starting early spring 2010.
