American Buff Wyandottes

Buff Wyandottes where admitted into the standard in 1893 and are regrettably not as well known, nor are they as popular as the buff Orpingtons. The future of this variety is uncertain unless more dedicated breeders and enthusiast get involved. Our line of buffs is nothing short of fantastic. The buffs breed true and one look at a fully grown buff from our line and there is no mistaking their awsome Wyandottes size and type. These calm and friendly birds offer all the perks of the Wyandotte variety while being easier to breed and prepare for show than most other varieties of Wyandottes. This variety is surprisingly beautiful and a great change and/or addition from the black/white color combination that make us most of the other Wyandotte varieties. This variety is an awesome choice for novice and experienced breeders as well as being a great choice for 4-H, FFA and showing in general.
