American Blue Wyandottes

New for 2010 Paul’s Poultry will be offering standard blue Wyandottes in very limited numbers. This variety is a work in progress for us. It seems that large fowl show blues have all but disappeared in the U.S. We have secured what we feel is a great start and will continue though a concerted breeding program to bring this variety back to prominance and standard. The blue Wyandottes are of the Andalusian variety meaning that the chicks will come in three combinations of color including blue, black and splash. This year we hope to raise up to a couple hundred chicks in an attempt to improve size, combs and lacing. Available in limited numbers these birds are expected to sell out extremely fast.
