We operate a small poultry farm nestled in the oak hammocks of central Florida. It is a family business that is dedicated to raising and improving all varieties of large fowl Wyandottes.
We found it alarming that many varieties of Wyandottes are on the verge of extinction, therefore making the breeding of quality Wyandottes in all varieties, that are true to type our mission. It is also imperative to us that we offer top quality birds not the hatchery variety. A good example of the differences may be viewed at http://bluelacedred.com/Hatchery%20or%20Breeder.html.
In order to provide us and our customers with the best we raise hundreds of chicks each year, than culling down to just a few in an attempt to better our lines. We never sit back on our laurels thinking that the last years chicks where good enough. Each year we notice a marked improvement to our lines. We also take great pride when raising and showing these birds knowing that they are truly an American breed. We have studied the Wyandottes and the A.P.A. standard for them and in have been breeding Wyandottes since 2004. We definitely know our Wyandottes! We are not a just popped up hatchery trying to make a quick buck on the latest and greatest hot bird in a myriad of poultry but rather concerned breeders of Wyandottes that are in it for the long haul.

Our unique climate gives us the opportunity to hatch out, raise and provide chicks to our customers nearly all year long. Our birds are well taken care of perhaps beyond the point of being spoiled. Birds on our farm live in clean wide open airy pens and are fed custom milled feeds with plenty of treats and fresh water as well as being rotated out to free graze regularly. Call ducks do extremely well in the state of Florida as they love the sunshine which encourages preening an ultimately better feather condition. Our moderate climate tends to give us an early start on duck hatches and provides us with a steady supply spring ducklings.
